Hall of Fame

Every season, the Newmarket Huskies Track Club recognizes high-quality achievements by its athletes on an on-going basis. A Hall of Fame Archive is also available for previous years, along with a Hall of Fame All-Time list.

Categories eligible for recognition include:

• International Performances
• Top 3 Result - Canadian Championships
• Ontario Champions
• Top 3 Teams - Canadian Championships
• Ontario Team Champion
• Ontario or Canadian Record
• Special Achievements & Heart of the Husky Award

Step Up to Excellence

The Step Up To Excellence Program is organized by Athletics Ontario to recognize track and field athletes for their performances over the year.

There are 10 levels of recognition within the program in every event, using both indoor and outdoor results.

The Newmarket Huskies Track Club has made use of this program for several years and a Step Up To Excellence Archive is available for previous years.

In 2023, we congratulated 74 Huskies who achieved a "Step Up" performance during the year.
